Before we do that though, let's just take a minute, we'll check this out and make sure it's gonna be the right setup for you. So nowadays, even with these half-ton trucks, you know they're capable machines and you can actually do some pretty heavy duty towing with them. And if that's what you plan on doing, that's where a kit like this would come into play, give you that attachment point that you need to hook your trailer up and pull it down the road. Now this particular kit from CURT has a 2-5/16 inch ball and a 30,000 pound gross trailer weight rating. That's how much weight it's rated to pull. Now CURT does offer a different kit of this with a 38,000 pound weight capacity, so if you need a little bit more, you can check that out. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this Curt Gooseneck Ball and Safety Chain Loop Kit for your 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with the factory towing prep package. If you have the towing prep package, this is the easiest way to add a gooseneck ball to your truck and be able to tow a gooseneck trailer because it's just a drop-in system. Very easy to do, and when it's not in use, you can take it out and leave nothing behind, so there's full access to your truck bed. And you could easily swap this out for maybe a drop-in fifth wheel, if you also have that. more

B&W makes this kit here specifically designed for these pickup trucks, whether it be a 5 1/2 foot bed like we have here today, or a 6 1/2 foot bed. So this will work with both of those. more

Now this kit is going to include your gooseneck ball, your two safety chain loop attachments, and a plug for whenever you're not using your gooseneck ball. If you want to throw this in there, you can do that. It's also going to come with this nice carrying case, so whenever you're not using it you can put all these components safely into the case, throw it in the back of your truck so you don't have to worry about this stuff rolling around. Today we have a 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500, and we're going to be taking a look at and I'm going to show you how to install the B&W gooseneck turnoverball hitch. Now, the B&W hitch is going to be a great option to be able to tow gooseneck trailers down the road safely, but in addition to gooseneck trailers, B&W also makes the companion fifth wheel hitch whether you want the slider or the stationary one, they're both going to drop down into the square shank of your gooseneck. You'll take your ball out, drop your fifth wheel hitch down in it, it locks down to your bed so that you're safe to tow your fifth wheel trailer too. That's why I like the B&W hitch so much is because it's so versatile. They have other accessories that you can use too, but you can only use them with the B&W gooseneck hitch. more

You'll have your two safety chain loops that simply twist into your puck system, they'll lock into place using these pins, and when you're not using 'em, flip this snapper pin back, pull the pin up, twist it, pull 'em out, and set 'em inside your carrying case for safe travel. Hey everyone, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Reese Elite Series Pop-In Gooseneck Hitch Ball Kit here on a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. So this is everything our kit is going to come with, starting with the bag here, so this is a really nice carrying case, you can see we have some handles on here, and this is gonna fit all the components you see here inside this bag. Now, this is a nice, soft padded case, it doesn't take up a ton of space, so it's great to store inside your vehicle, so you have everything there when you need it. Next, we have our little rubber plug here, so this is gonna go into the gooseneck opening here of the trailer hitch on our truck, and it's gonna protect the gooseneck opening from any dirt, debris, contaminants getting in there, possibly messing up the mechanism. Next, on the outside here, we have our safety chain loop, so these are gonna be required by law to attach your safety chains to the truck, and these are basically just gonna provide a nice, wide opening there for your clevis hooks. They have a nice black powder coated finish as well, so it's gonna protect them from rust and corrosion, 'cause these things are made out of metal. more

Hey everybody, Ryan DY trailer today on our 2022 Chevy Silverado, 2,500 we're gonna be checking out the Curt gooseneck plate adapter for and embed foot wheel rails. Whenever I first saw this adapter play at least that's kind of what I call it. I actually thought it was really cool cause it gives you a great way to have your existing fifth wheel rails and essentially turn what you got into a goose snack and no time at all. Really this thing just drops right in and pins in. And what I like about it, it's really lightweight small. Doesn't take up a lot of space and I mean, what more what more could you ask for there honestly and I feel like this is a good solution, cause let's say if you have, obviously, if you already got the rails you're pulling a fifth field trailer well maybe end up getting another trailer. more

So here's everything that we're gonna get with our kit here. We have a nice, handy carrying case that's gonna store all of our kit components when we're not using them so we can put them inside the vehicle, we don't lose track of them. And then our main component is our gooseneck hitch ball followed up with our two safety chain loop anchors. And then we have a rubber plug for the center gooseneck hitch ball opening when we're not using the hitch ball. So in regards to the material of all of our kick components our case here has a nice fabric exterior here. more

Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the CURT gooseneck under-bed kit on a 2021 Chevy Silverado 2500. Now, this is what your gooseneck under-bed is going to look like installed. And really, all the hardware is supplied and it just uses this series of brackets to kinda clamp around the frame. You will have to fish wire two of the bolts, and the only drilling required is going to be making the actual hole where your receiver's gonna be, and then also the holes for the safety loops. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch here on our 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3,500. So this is what our gooseneck hitch looks like installed. Looking at it from the top of the truck bed, and as you can see here it has a very minimalist design. There's a lot of gooseneck hitches that considerably stick up from the truck bed there. Therefore you're always gonna be catching them when you're trying to slide things into your truck bed. Most of everything here is gonna be relatively flushed to the bed for the exception of the U bolts here, they do stick up a little bit, but aside from that, we're gonna be able to use our truck bed as we would normally without having to worry about catching on anything from the gooseneck hitch. more

And this is what our gooseneck ball looks like when it's installed. We've currently got it in the attachment position where you're ready to hook up to your gooseneck. But you can pull the handle to release your ball here, and you can pull this out and flip it over when you're not gonna haul your trailer to restore full truck bed access here. So you can see with our ball out of the way, this is pretty flush with the bottom of our bed, and our safety chain attachments as well are also pretty flush on the bottom. more

So the BMW turnover ball is a gooseneck trailer hitch. It has a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball, which is gonna be accommodating for most few spec trailers. However, a lot of people actually use this under-bed installation kit to tow a fifth wheel. You're able to do this by using one of the BMWs companion fifth wheel trailer hitches that simply installs into this center square post here. It's available in both a fixed and sliding version. more

Any gooseneck hitch or an under-bed kit like this is gonna allow to do a few different things. One is the obvious, allow you to pull a gooseneck trailer, but maybe you pull a gooseneck trailer through the week and you have a fifth wheel you pull on the weekends, or you're looking at buying a fifth wheel camper. Being B&W, it allows you to add a fifth wheel hitch using the under-bed gooseneck attachment. Now depending on your bed size, and depending on what kind of fifth wheel hitch you would use. more

Having this setup is going to allow you to utilize your bed space when you're not pulling a trailer. But on the other side of that, it's going to give you your gooseneck hookup, and you can also install a fifth wheel slider with this same setup. The benefit of having this setup being able to use either a fifth wheel or gooseneck is maybe you pull a gooseneck trailer through the week, and then you have a fifth wheel that you want to pull on the weekends. more

Now, one of the main features about this gooseneck, is that it has a double locking pin. So, it's actually gonna hold your ball with two pins instead of one, unlike many of the others. more

Our safety chain loops or rings, hold-down rings, are in the lower of the corrugation. Our center head piece or center section for our under-bed gooseneck is also .. It sits level with our raised corrugation.This is going to give us total bed access for putting anything in and out. more

Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we're going to be installing BMW's turnover ball under bed gooseneck, part number BWGNRK1016. Now this is what our goose neck is going to look like when it's installed. It's going to allow you to hook up to your gooseneck trailer, and has a tongue weight of 7,500 pounds, and a gross towing capacity of 30,000 pounds. The safety chain connections are retractable and spring loaded, so when you're not using them they spring down to be flushed, stay out of your way. When you're ready to use them you can just pull them up and make your connection. The included ball mount can be flipped over and stored upside down, and this way you've got full truck bed access. more

This is what our gooseneck hitch looks like when it's installed. This is going to give you the safety and comfort to be able to tow your gooseneck trailer. It's going to be a complete under bed system. The only thing we're going to have in the bed of the truck is our safety chain loop and the ring for our gooseneck hitch.As you can see, safety chain loops are in our lower corrugation and our ring on our gooseneck sits flush with our raised corrugation. Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, you're going to be taking a look at, and I'm going to show you how to install, the Curt Overbed, Folding Ball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, part number C61301-52.This is what our hitch looks like in the bed of our truck, it's going to have the same carbide black powder coat finish as your cross members. It's going to have 6 mounting locations, that attach to those cross members underneath the bed.What sets this hitch apart from others, is the balls going to stay on the hitch. It's going to store underneath the bed when not in use. When you're ready to use it, you simply pull the handle, grab the T, flip the ball up, and it's locked into place.Your safety chain U-bolts are spring loaded. And when you're not using the ball, simply pull the T-handle, lift, fold it into place.You're going to have a 2 and 5/16ths inch ball. You're going to have 7500 pound vertical load limit, which is straight up and down on the ball. more

This is an under bed gooseneck trailer hitch with custom installation kit, part number 9465-56.Now this is what our gooseneck looks like when not in use. As you can see, it's going to allow for full access, even our safety chain connection points here. They fit in that lower part of the corrugation. That's what makes the under bed gooseneck kits much more desirable because we still have full access without a ball sticking up in the middle. Now when we're ready to use it, you want to pull off the magnetic cover that comes with it. more

Part number C611-624. Here's where our Curt EZR double-lock gooseneck hitch is going to look like. This is going to allow us to tow a gooseneck trailer safely and securely behind our truck. What I really like about this kit is the fact that when we're not towing, we can remove the ball and flip it over, and we'll store right back in, but we'll have full bed access, and don't have to worry about working around the gooseneck ball.Then to keep any kind of dirt and grime out from the inside of our gooseneck, Curt provides us with this rubber cover. Part number C607-604.Here's what your hitch looks like when it's installed. What's gonna set this apart from other hitches, is it has a dual-locking pin. Another thing that's gonna set it apart, is this rod, the handle for your locking pin, can be put on the passenger's side or the driver's side. This hitch is gonna have a nice powder-coat finish, to resist corrosion and rust.Another great feature about this hitch, is you can have full bed access, whenever you're not using your hitch ball. You can see the grooves in the side here, there's a pin down inside. more
